Complete and Partial Dentures
Dr. Ronald Clark uses dentures — a removable appliance — to restore and enhance your smile when teeth are missing or facial tissues are damaged or missing. Red Bluff Dental technicians custom design dentures with CEREC ® to replace missing teeth and sometimes even the surrounding oral tissue
Reasons for dentures:
- Enhancing facial tissues
- Improving chewing, speech and digestion
Partial dentures replace one or more adjacent teeth in either the upper or lower arch.
Complete dentures replace all teeth in either the upper or lower arch.
Complete dentures may be either conventional or immediate.

Conventional dentures are made after all of the teeth in an arch have been removed and the gum tissue has healed, a process that can take four to six weeks.
Immediate dentures are made in advance and placed once the teeth are removed. This prevents you from being without teeth during the healing process. Once the tissues shrink and heal, adjustment of the denture will ensure a most comfortable fit.

Dentures are very durable appliances. With proper care and periodic adjustment, they will last many years.
